Postdoctoral Position in Ethics of AI / Experimental Philosophy of AI / HRI at Graz University
Your Responsibilities
- Research and publication activities in the field of Ethics of AI, Experimental Philosophy of AI and HRI
- Collaboration with Prof. Markus Kneer on research projects in the stated disciplines (see https://shorturl.at/n26qV)
- Support of the chair of Ethics of AI in teaching
- Support of the chair of Ethics of AI in organizing workshops and conferences at IDea_Lab
- Participation in the application process for third-party funded projects
- Independent teaching of courses and conducting of examinations
- Participation in organizational and administrative tasks as well as in evaluation measures
Your Profile
- Completed Doctorate/PhD in the area of philosophy, experimental philosophy or related discipline
- At least two publications (published or accepted)
- Extensive expertise in experiment design, statistical analysis and/or corpus analysis
- Excellent command of R or Python, Qualtrics, and/or NLP
- Excellent written and spoken knowledge of English, German is helpful though not necessary
- Very good IT skills, especially in connection with digital teaching
- High level of commitment and motivation for scientific work
- High degree of personal responsibility and ability to cooperate
- Strong teamwork and organizational skills
